Codenamed “Game 4,” our in-development game has some new additions since you last saw it on our Raptr Extra Life Charity Stream or since you first saw it at PAX Prime in our first live stream demo of Game 4.

We’ve shown you the House with the collection of hairstyles, helmets, and heavy weaponry available for your human heroes. Now we’ve put out a new line of accessories in Game 4!

Today, we’ll just give you a taste of what’s to come by showing off one of our units: Cupcakes. If looks could kill, these Cupcakes would be the deadliest unit on the field!

Speaking of Recruiting, we’ve alluded to this ability in the game but we haven’t had a chance to show it to you yet. Don’t you worry, my darlings; you’ll be able to see the simplicity of Recruiting in action when we bring Game 4 to PAX East this March!Until then, come back to the blog soon because we’ll be revealing another creatures’ collection of customizable. 2014 Halloween Contest Winners

We had over 50 entries this year with amazing costumes and decorations from Alien Hominid, Castle Crashers, BattleBlock Theater, and even Game 4! Thank you to everyone who participated in the contest and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! It was extremely difficult to narrow down all those cool entries to 3 winners in each category. Extra Life 2014 Recap

We were invited by Raptr to join their Extra Life marathon this year! In the past, we’ve donated codes to participants of the charity event, but it was our first time streaming for the event and fundraising for our local Children’s Miracle Network hospital: Rady Children’s Hospital.
 
As part of the stream on Raptr’s channel, we spent an hour playing Game 4 to raise awareness and fundraise for Extra Life. It was our first time showing the Quest system in Game 4! Here is our recording of our segment in the Extra Life marathon:

We’re so grateful to everyone who came to support our live stream and also to everyone who donated to our Extra Life fundraising page. We raised $665.58 from the community and matched with $666, for a grand total of $1331.58!
 
During our live stream, we were able to raffle off plush prizes. Congrats to the six winners we pulled from our list of Extra Life donors!
