PAX East 2018 – Booth 14005

Pit People has officially launched but the fun doesn’t stop there! We’re already working on our next update for the game and we’re also planning our Boston trip in April. This year the expo runs for four days so you’ll be able to visit us for an extra day!

Come to visit us at Booth 14005 where we’ll have arcade cabinets for Pit People (single player and 2-player Co-Op), Castle Crashers Remastered, BattleBlock Theater, and Alien Hominid HD.


We’re also bringing back our Gift Shop with tons of official merch, including new Pit People figurines, a PAX East 2018 exclusive shirt, new patches in our Chonku Chonku machines, and more! Click to see the Behemoth Mega Merch List.

There are also several events that will be happening that week at PAX East. Here’s what we’ve got confirmed so far:

-Friday, April 6th, from 1:30PM-3:30PM EST: Pit People First Blood Challenge (Hosted at our booth)
-Friday, April 6th, starting at 4:00PM EST: Live Performance by Patric Catani (Hosted at our booth)
-Saturday, April 7th, from 1:30PM-3:30PM EST: Pit People First Blood Challenge (Hosted at our booth)
-Saturday, April 7th, from 6:00PM-8:00PM EST: BattleBlock Theater Tournament (Hosted by PAX)

The First Blood Challenge will focus on 1v1 battles in the Pit. Any PAX East attendee is welcome to join! Click the link above to see the rules and prizes.

Pit People Fan Art Contest
We’ve got another event coming up on the Newgrounds site! Make some original art based on Pit People and upload on Newgrounds by 11:59PM EST on Wednesday, March 28th, for a chance to win a code for Pit People. (Note – original deadline was March 18th but it was extended after requests for more time.)

Tag your entry with “pitpeople” and feel welcome to link to it in this thread as well. If you aren’t a scouted artist on NG, they’ll still find your entry!



Entries will be judged by Pit People artist @DanPaladin, with the top ten being gifted Pit People Steam keys.

Already own it? Gift a copy to a friend! You can use this thread to discuss Pit People fan art and share your works in progress!

If you didn’t get a chance to make it to these events, you can always check out our Discord server to chat with other community members and our staff when we’re around (which is pretty much every weekday). Come chat about games and share your fan art!

Pit People Official Release (Out Now!)

Today, Pit People officially released on Steam and Xbox One! In just a little over a year, we were able to kiss early access goodbye thanks to the help of our Early Access & Game Preview supporters!

 
Pit People’s full release will include:

  • Full Story including all cinematics
  • Single player Story Mode
  • 2 player local co-op
  • 2 player online co-op
  • Insane Mode
  • Permadeath Mode
  • 100+ missions and quests
  • 200 regions to explore
  • 1500+ unlocks
  • Daily Tournaments (Unfair Challenge with up to 2 players, PVP with up to 4 players)

 
For those of you who have been playing since Early Access, you can check out the full changelist below.

We’re currently working on another update for the future, but when that comes out and what will be included will be finalized later, after analyzing release feedback. (For science!)
