New DLC Available on PSN Today!

Today, we are releasing two DLC packs for Castle Crashers on PlayStation Network in America and Canada. PSN users in these regions can now download the Can’t Stop Crying Pack and The Legend of the Blacksmith Pack for $1.99 for each content pack. Castle Crashers fans on PSN can now play with the Hatty Hattington character from BattleBlock Theater and the Blacksmith, a.k.a. Purple Knight.

 

You may recognize the Can’t Stop Crying Pack from when it was first released on Xbox LIVE with BattleBlock Theater. Please keep in mind that on Xbox the DLC is unlocked if you have both Castle Crashers and BattleBlock Theater, but on PSN the DLC is priced at $1.99 USD because BBT is not available on PSN.

 
Also available today are the PSN Latin America updates. Castle Crashers Full Game + Pink Knight, Can’t Stop Crying Pack, The Legend of the Blacksmith Pack will release for the first time in Argentina and Chile.
 
Pink Knight, Can’t Stop Crying Pack, The Legend of the Blacksmith Pack will release in Brazil.

Pink Knight goes to SCEE & December Giveaways!

On December 7th, 2011, the beloved Pink Knight will be castle crashin’  his or her way to players for PSN Europe (SCEE)! Unfortunately our friends in Australia, Germany and New Zealand will have to wait a little longer as we have to figure out some region specific items to finalize our pink friend for your countries.

Annihilate enemies with love with the contents of this DLC:

New Castle Crasher on PSN will leave you tickled Pink

You asked for it, and we listened. The single most requested character will be joining the battle on PSN on February 8th; in brand new additional content for Castle Crashers. We give you…. the Pink Knight!

Born out of popular demand, rumor, and Tom Fulp’s Beard, the Pink Knight is ready to bring the love in. The playable Pink Knight will come packed with the Lollipop and 4 other brand new additional weapons. Warning: Adorable.

The Pink Knight Pack will be available on PSN for $1.99 and 100% of The Behemoth’s revenue from Pink Knight pack sales will be donated to charities devoted to Breast Cancer Research.

Now before you become sad dear XBLA fans, remember Behemoth loves you too. We are working hard on a title update for XBLA that will feature the Pink Knight as a playable character as well.
