$30,000 and counting for Haiti Challenge!!

So you may have heard.. since January 20th we’ve been raising money for Haiti relief efforts by donating 200% of proceeds from ALL downloadable content (DLC) sales for Castle Crashers or Alien Hominid.  We’ve just received some numbers regarding the donation that we would like to share with you!

Between Jan 20-24th through your DLC purchases — you raised $15,585.65!!!  We are matching that, for a donation of $31,171.29!!! This is truly amazing. You amaze us.

Let’s amaze each other. With your help, we can get to a total donation of at least $50,000. We already announced continuing the fundraiser through today – but we’ll keep this going as long as it takes to reach 50K for Haiti Relief. Come on world!  Let’s do this.

5,000 Necromancer Codes and You!

With so much talk of anniversaries and birthdays we’ve decided to continue our favorite part of both, presents! With that said, we went and got 5,000 Necromancer DLC codes for Castle Crashers and want to just give them away everyday until we run out. Since the latest iteration of the internet provides us with so many different ways of communicating with all of you we’ve made a decision to try to use as many of these sites as possible.

Our holder of the codes Kelly has been on our twitter feed handing out batch after batch of said codes since yesterday morning. In addition to Twitter our Facebook groups here and here are also receiving some love.  If all of those sites weren’t enough we’ll have Kelly here on the blog and over at the forums handing them out as well.

In the event that the  exhaustive list of links above weren’t clear enough, here’s a simpler one to follow:

The King Pack!

King’s Healing is an awesome new spell that lets you heal other players and yourself.  If you have ever decided to pick the healer class in any RPG with the intention of healing the party, this spell is for you. This pack should go live sometime on the 14th of January for 160 Space Bucks Microsoft Points  ($2.00).  All pricing for this and future downloadable content is entirely decided on by Microsoft. All we can do is throw in our input (free!!!!!) but at the end of the day it’s their decision.
