Oh. That’s a new look for you! Barbaric much?
 
With Castle Crashers upcoming anniversary on August 27th, we thought it would be appropriate to give you Barbarian once you finished the BattleBlock Theater Furbottom’s Features! If you play through the new featured co-op playlist then Barbarian will unlock at the end of your journey.

As an added bonus, you’ll be getting Little Feets (teehee) as soon as you load up an online area in the game. You get to got for two brawny looks this week!

First Look at Game 4!

What’s this?? Game 4 is upon us!!
 
Shortly before the release of BattleBlock Theater we started working on something new. We schemed up a bunch of concepts and picked our strongest one. From there we fleshed out the lone survivor prototype!!! As it grew stronger and stronger, we polished it, furnished it with delights, and added (gluten free?) sprinkles. Yes, as the chicken dictates, this game is of a genre we haven’t covered before and seek to breathe a new flavor into. Maybe you can find a hint in the video below about which genre it is??
 
What we’ve ended up with is something we are all very proud of. I am confident you’ll get a kick out of this one. So we’ve decided to bring it to PAX Prime — and you can play it! As usual we’ll want your feedback to steer the process. I cannot wait to show you guys what we’ve got!

Jonny Four is alive!

Today we’ve released Jonny Four on Steam and re-released on XBLA. All you need to do to find him in BattleBlock Theater is load up the game, head towards an online area, and he should unlock!

 

But be warned! Don’t get electrocuted by the lasers when you’re traversing the uncharted territories of the theater. No one likes to get zapped, right? Look alive, Jonny fii–… Jonny Four!

 

Oh, and for you curious folks out there: we will be resuming new community playlists for the Arena Feature starting in two weeks! Today is the last day for the community to submit their Arena Playlists for the Creation Contest (enter by 3PM PST on August 15th!), which means we will resume it by featuring the winner of the contest!
