Valentine’s Day 2026 Art Contest: Send a Valentine to Hatty!

February is just around the corner, cupid’s arrows are flying throughout BattleBlock Theater, and it’s time for another Behemoth Art Contest! This year, we have a simple yet delightful prompt for you: Send a Valentine to Hatty Hattington! We’ve seen many requests for a Hatty art contest these past few years, so without further ado, let’s welcome the handsome gentleman to center stage and get this show on the road!

Don’t know where to start? Purrrhaps the cat’s got your tongue? It’s easy! Just think of a fun phrase like “I love you as much as those pesky Cat Guards love golden yarn!” Next, decide how you want to portray Hatty in your work of art. Other familiar faces from the theater and overall Behemoth universe can be included in your Valentine, but please make the focus on everybody’s best friend, Sir Hattington himself!

Here’s a handful of examples to get that inspiration flowing:

You got this! Now close your eyes, imagine all the love in the world for Hatty in your brain, then unleash it all onto a single Valentine’s Day card! Next, it’s time for what we’ve all been waiting for–reading the fine print rules and feasting our eyes upon the dazzling prizes!

Rules:

  • Your entry must be an image, and it must be themed as a Valentine to Hatty Hattington! 
  • Your entry must be human made–no AI generated entries will be accepted.
  • Your entry must be submitted through our form at this URL: https://form.jotform.com/260065975159062
    • Only ONE entry per person will be accepted.
  • You must be 18 years of age or older, or have parental consent to participate.
  • Real humans with eyes will be reviewing your submissions, so please keep it appropriate for all. Since we’ll also be posting the winners on our blog and social media, please keep it within our game ratings: T for Teen!
  • If you win and happen to reside out of the United States, we will send you a digital Steam Gift Card in lieu of the announced prize due to current shipping limitations.
  • Your entry must be submitted by 11:59:59PM PST on Wednesday, February 11th. All entries received after this cutoff time and date will be alchemically transformed into wet food and fed to the Cat Guards. Meoooow!

Prizes:

Three exceptional entries will be awarded a BattleBlock prize pack complete with a Hatty Hattington tissue box, Cat Guard piggy bank, Duck Shark hat, and stickers!

Winners will be announced through our blog on Friday, February 13th, and posted on our social media throughout Valentine’s Day weekend. Now, go forth and give it your all! Hatty Hattington awaits your undying love and affection!

Valentine’s Day Cards, Sweet Sales, and INSANE Alien Gameplay?

We’ve all seen those low-effort yet hilarious Valentine’s Day cards that flood our social media feeds every February, right? This year, we asked our Discord community to participate in a contest to create a similar Behemoth-themed card to share the love (and some laughs). 

They turned out to be more thoughtful and sweet than low effort, so it was hard to choose just a few out of the bunch. Buuuut, we had three cute Gluten plushies to give out, so drumroll please~

It’s a Lovely Day… for The Behemoth’s Valentine’s Day Fan Art Contest!

Love is in the air… actually, we don’t know what that looks, smells, or tastes like, but what we do know is that what’s actually coming up is Valentine’s Day! Seriously, our calendars told us.

We’re going to make sure that this Valentine’s Day is as lovely as it can be with our 2021 Valentine’s Day Fan Art Contest!

There are two contest categories that you can enter your fan art in: Sweetest and Loveliest. We know these are broad strokes, but we always love to see what our friends and fans come up with when we give you a word to play off of, so do what you feel and make our hearts soar!

We’ll pick a couple of winners from both categories, and those that strike us smitten will find themselves the beholder of some fabulous prizes!

The winner with the Sweetest drawing will be granted a Cupcake Plush, while the winner of the Loveliest category will earn Blacksmith Socks and a Purple Alien Hominid Invasion Bandana!

To enter, make some art, and then post it (or a picture of it) publicly to Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook with the hashtag #MyBehemothValentine before Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 11:59 PM PT. Oh, and be sure to mention what category your art is for: Sweetest or Loveliest!

Yes, you get a couple of extra days past February 14th to enter just in case your Valentine’s Day plans particularly inspire you. We’ll take the next week to vote on our winners, then announce them in a spectacular fashion with prizes and all!
