Alien Hominid Invasion: First Look Gameplay

Have you prepped for the Invasion yet? Here’s a little extra intel that will help you get ready for the upcoming Alien Hominid Invasion…

Alien Hominid Invasion is a co-op run ‘n’ gun packed with chaos, mayhem, and a whole lot of explosions. Unlock and equip an arsenal of weapons and boosts, level up, then beam down to invade Earth with up to three other friends. Abduct intel from your enemies to sabotage their plans, observe the oddities of human life, blow up bosses, and mutate into a variety of powerful Alien forms in order to take down the not-so-secret Agents that are dead set on ruining your day.

During the invasion, you’ll determine your own gameplay path with a non-linear level experience and overrun the Agents in sectors built from hundreds of hand-crafted city blocks. Take over by mastering Alien acrobatics including flipping, diving, tossing your enemies, and more, then utilize your mutations to experiment with new mechanics like super speed, healing, and flight!

In co-op, each player can also choose their own challenge by picking their individual difficulty level: Friendly, Normal, or the infamous INSANE mode!

When development is complete, Alien Hominid Invasion is planned to launch on Steam (PC), Nintendo Switch®, and Xbox.

Game 5: It’s Coming 🛸

Grab hold of something, and don’t get abducted — Game 5 is coming.

Alien Hominid Invasion is a reimagination of the original Alien Hominid HD, and will feature completely new gameplay, progression, mechanics, and so much more. The game is currently being developed; after completion, it will be launching for PC and consoles.

You can be among the first to play Alien Hominid Invasion next month at PAX East, where we’ll be publicly revealing more details about the game. If you’re stuck on the other side of the globe, you can be among the second to play it at EGX Rezzed instead!

If you don’t have a spaceship to fly over to the shows, don’t worry! We’ll be sure to share more information about Alien Hominid Invasion as we move further along in the development process. Pit People’s Final Touches!

It has been nearly a year since we launched Pit People on early access. This journey has been an incredible experience! We’ve built a better game thanks to all your feedback.

So here’s a spicy little situation: We’ve decided that our next big drop will be the FULL version of the game! Yes, it shall be complete! You’ll be able to play through the story and find out what happens for everyone.


As we write this, we’re working on the last of the cinematics for the story campaign! This is the final push towards completing the game, alongside additional story quests and a new world map with bonus missions.


Since there’s so much involved with these last steps (VO, animation, level creation, music licensing, QA testing, etc), we’re not exactly sure when everything will line up for a full release date, but we’re shooting to release within the first few months of 2018.


Thank you again to all of the people who’ve been playing Pit People during early access and to everyone who has been sending us feedback. It has truly been invaluable and we can’t wait to share the conclusion of Pit People with you all!
