Alien [Hominid] Week

In celebration of the upcoming film Prometheus, Xbox LIVE is showcasing alien themed games all week, including our very own Alien Hominid HD.

So we’re joining in on the festivities with fun alien-related activities all week. First, follow us as we go back in time―like Will Smith in MIB3―and relive our favorite moments from the development of Alien Hominid to post release events.

In addition to the memories, The Behemoth will be doing contests to bring you several opportunities to score tickets to Prometheus, which is set to release on June 8th in the U.S., win some merchandise by The Behemoth and even enter to get a box set of the Alien Anthology!

Castle Crashers 50% off on XBLA!

Recently we’ve been tracking Castle Crashers ranking on XBLA based on user reviews. We’ve been very fortunate thanks to our amazing fans for having the top spot for highest player-rated XBLA title, but something that’s been very exciting for us to see lately is that we’re in the Top 5 for the Action & Adventure genre for the entire service! Right now we’re sitting in 4th place in front of some massive titles like Bioshock and Red Dead Redemption. Pretty awesome, no?

Speaking of awesome, Castle Crashers is going on SALE on XBLA! This Friday, April 15th, Castle Crashers will be just 600 chickenwings. We’re celebrating Leonardo Da Vinci’s Birthday! And Tax Day! And the Sinking of the Titanic! Take your pick, and pick up Castle at half off in this one day discount.

In other news, you can check out a podcast with BattleBlock Theater Level Designer Aaron Jungjohann over on Front Towards Gamer. We’ve also dontated a bunch of goodies inlcuding some stealthy camouflage Castle Crashers stickers to their sister company Operation Supply Drop which sends video games, consoles, and other gaming goodies to troops deployed overseas!

Tournament Victories, Pink Knights, and Missiles.

Three very exciting things this week!

#1. Over the weekend, on Feb 5th, we hosted the first ever Castle Crashers Tournament of Champions on XBLA! With several hours of ferocious battles we discovered who are the very best Castle Crashers Arena fighters in the world!  Our top 3 finalists, winning the exciting grand prizes are:

FIRST PLACE: Imperfect Luck
Second Place: Wootywootman
Third Place: RsL Warsteel

Congratulations to all our competitors. We were truly impressed with the level of skill you showed, as well as the awesome sportsmanlike attitude everyone brought to the tournament. Everyone who competed, and everyone in the Qualifying top 100 will get a prize. Keep an eye on your email for details.  [PSN players… we’re gonna do something similar for you too. Waiting for you to hit a certain milestone.. ;)]

#2. Pink Knight is now available on PSN!! Remember all The Behemoth proceeds from Pink Knight packs will go to Breast Cancer Research. Beat up your enemies with RAINBOWS!  I understand it hasn’t yet released in all regions, but it is coming to all for sure. Here are some love-ly screenshots:

#3. Super Soviet Missile Mastar has released on to iThings (iOS)! So far only a few people have managed to beat our high score of 20.5k… Can you? We’re going to give a special prize to the first person to get the Fly 50,000 km achievement!! Oh, did we mention its FREE?
