Battle it out in the Arena with Snail!

We have good news! Blocketeer and Moose will stay up over the weekend, but we’re giving you another special unlock today too!

 

FeaturePost_SnailTo fit the sluggish summer we’re experiencing due to humid San Diego weather, we’re unlocking Snail! All you’ll need to do is load up BattleBlock Theater and make your way to an online area. Getting the Snail will be that fast!

 

Just make sure your Snail doesn’t get a-salted in the featured Arena playlist!

 

We are keeping the Behemoth created playlists as the Arena Feature at this time since the Arena Playlist Creation Contest is still open until August 15th.

 

Reminder: Special unlocks in Steam will not be available to sell or trade until after they are no longer available to unlock in game. Click here for the specifics on that.

 

Furbottoms Features – Now updated!

Howdy folks! We sure hope you had a good time following our Comic Con news this past weekend. It was a crazy hectic weekend, but we are now back in the office ready to bring more fun community levels to you in BattleBlock Theater.
 
As many of you know, we generally update the Furbottom’s Features section of BBT on Fridays. We had to push the Furbottoms Features cooperative playlist to this Monday, but we will be resuming the Friday schedule this week and updating the Arena Feature again this Friday.
 
So here are the two community co-op playlists that we’ve featured in BattleBlock Theater:

For those who finish either the Furbottom’s Features co-op or solo, you’ll be able to unlock Blocketeer once you’ve completed all the levels!

 

Yep, you’ll be able to jet around the levels with this fella. I reckon you don’t want to miss this opportunity.

 

As an added bonus for playing BattleBlock Theater online, players will also be unlocking Moose for a limited time.

Comic Con – Day 1 Pics & Day 2 Events

Look it’s Hatty and friend! (We heart fans who cosplay)

 
Day 1 of Comic Con went by smoothly at our booth (229). We had our first Twitter Photo Raffle at noon and we’ll be doing it again for those who come in to Comic Con today and tweet their pic with #Game4Cupcake before 12PM. We’ll randomly draw a winner around noon and the winner will be able to pick up a duck shark hat from us before 2PM today!
 
But that’s not all folks! No, siree. From 2PM to 4PM today and tomorrow, our fearless leader and Art Director, Dan Paladin, will be doing autograph signings at our booth. Just bring your Behemoth merch and he’ll give you his John Hancock. Meet and greet with Dan and the rest of our crew today!
