Game Masters: The Exhibition has been traveling the globe and it’s finally here in our own city: San Diego! You’ll be able to find it in the Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park and you’ll be able to find two of our games on their show floor: Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers!

Game Masters: The Exhibition showcases the world’s best video game designers, from the arcade era to today’s console and online games. And with 100+ playable games, it’s game on!

This is the first large-scale exhibition to take visitors behind the scenes of how video games are made as well as spotlighting the people who actually make them. From Nintendo’s iconic worlds featuring Mario and Link, to the obsession that is Minecraft, to the immersive experiences of Blizzard Entertainment, this is a landmark collection of the most popular video games on the planet, as well as independent games with a cult-like following.

Game Masters is an exhibition developed by ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image). It makes its California premiere at the Fleet Science Center on July 1, 2017 and it closes January 15, 2018.

2017 Fan Art Contest Winners

Happy Monday, everyone! We had an amazing response to the Valentine’s Day Fan Art Contest this year with over 130 entries from very talented fans. Our community is overflowing with love!!!

The judges had a difficult time narrowing it to the Top 3 as we originally had intended having three prizes — so we broke our own rules and decided on the Top 5! The five winners below will get a pink knight figurine and a game code of their choice. Congrats to all the winners!

The Pit People Fighter Hoodie that you see above has never been shown or sold before today. The design is based on one of our most popular Pit People t-shirt designs, but in a warm and cozy pullover hoodie edition. Now you can still show off your favorite Pit People creatures even on the coldest days of winter!

The photo has the hoodie modeled by our very own Ian Moreno. For those of you who have played the Pit People demo or beta, you may recognize his voice as Yosef — oh, and he’s also one of our game developers and makes music too!
