Uncertain of what you’ll be doing for your few hours of freedom over the weekend? We’ll make it easier for you and pass on our wisdom: Play video games.
 
Specifically, play BattleBlock Theater and work towards unlocking Hooshmand, The Wise. That’s right! In Furbottom’s Features, you’ll be playing hard to work hard! (Huh?)

Just finish either the solo or co-op playlist in Furbottom’s Features and you will be granted this wildly, wise cat.
 
Hooshmand has seen things. Terrible, violent things. Play this week’s feature and you can also see terribly violent things, but at least you’ll get to hang out with Hooshmand in the end!

Expert difficulty playlists will be challenges even for BattleBlock veterans. These levels are put together with no regard for the safety of your prisoner. Innovative and deadly exercises await inside these demanding levels. Doubly so on Insane Mode!

 

*A special note regarding Prisoner unlocks: Remember you can complete either Story mode Furbottom’s Feature to unlock this week’s featured Prisoner. If the Solo Feature is too hard, try Co-Op and vice versa! You can even recomplete current Feature’s you have already played!
 
If you already have Hooshmand, then you won’t be getting a pop up notification for a new prisoner. True story.

 

A TripleThreat returns to BattleBlock Theater

FeaturePost_TripThreatToday is National Sibling Day! There’s no other person(s?) who understands the importance of family bonding more than TripleThreat! These three can’t stand being apart ever…or is it that they can’t stand, if they’re apart? In any case, in the spirit of Sibling Day, we’re giving you three prisoners in the body of one!
 
Just head into BattleBlock Theater and go towards an online feature in the game to unlock this prisoner. If you already have TripleThreat in your list of Star prisoners, then you won’t be getting the notification.
 
While you’re already in the game, you may as well take advantage of our awesome new Arena Features made by the community!

Suit up for Furbottom’s Features

FeaturePost_SNAKEFACE It’s Friday! And it’s a good one. Know what this means? It’s time to suit up with your fanciest duds and load up BattleBlock Theater for some Furbottom’s Features!
 
As a reward for your efforts in Furbottom’s Features, we’ll give you our most fanciful suit after you complete either the solo or co-op playlist! You’ll be able to rock out in any level as our Snakeface special prisoner.
 
If you don’t get an unlock notification, then you may already have Snakeface! Just check your list of Star prisoners in player set up to be sure.
 
Here are the new co-op playlists in Furbottom’s Features that have been updated for this month:
 
XBLA Co-Op Playlist:
Chapter2 2P by Logan s Miller
Difficulty level: Easy
A walk in the laser and buzzsaw filled park. Playlists of this difficulty will be a smooth experience full of interesting ideas more so than relentless challenge. These will generally be easier than the original Story mode campaign.
 

Steam Co-Op Playlist:
RunningMan coop by razavimday
Difficulty level: Expert
