Barbarian and Giraffey return to BattleBlock Theater

In honor of our Castle Crashers Remastered release, we’re bringing back Barbarian (did you know he’s got his own mini-game now?!) and Giraffey as special unlocks in BattleBlock Theater. For a limited time only, you’ll be able to unlock these two special prisoners just by loading up BattleBlock Theater!

Welcome back, Furbottom’s Features!

We had a short hiatus from updating Furbottom’s Features in BattleBlock Theater last week due to PAX Prime, but at least it allowed us to play catch up with the prisoner unlocks and community playlists on XBLA. Thank you for your patience!

This week, we’re back on track with updating the Furbottom’s Features co-op playlist and we’re rewarding your completion of all the levels with a Troll!
 
As may have heard, Castle Crashers Remastered will be coming out soon. It was also the 7th anniversary of Castle Crashers on Xbox 360 on August 27th! In honor of these events, we give you one of our beloved characters from Castle Crashers.
 
Remember, you can either play the solo or co-op playlist in Furbottom’s Features to unlock this prisoner in BBT. Here are the two new co-op playlists we’ve featured for this month:
 
XBLA Co-Op Feature:
Adventure PL by ps3guyguy
Difficulty: Intermediate
Expect levels in line with the difficulty of the original Story campaign. Some challenge, but not the hardest we’ve seen.
 
Steam Co-Op Feature:
Monde 1-1 by Kohana
Difficulty: Beginner

 

Goodbye, PAX Prime 2015

Another show done! PAX Prime 2015 marks the end of our con and expo tour for this year. We had four rad days of PAX to show off Pit People, Castle Crashers Remastered, BattleBlock Theater, Alien Hominid HD, and our Gold Egg Project recipient, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime!

Four days of meeting fans and making friends, then it was over. We waved goodbye to our booth and gave each other hugs to solidify the spread of the PAX Plague.
