PAX East 2012 Has Begun!

Day 1 of PAX East 2012 went by in what felt like a blur… a blur of awesome fans coming to visit our booth and showing their support for what we do. So yeah, thanks for that! And if you need proof as to just how great our fans are, just know that our limited edition Ushanka Bear hats sold out in under two hours! Considering the hats sold for $60 a piece and all proceeds went to the Wigs For Kids charity, that’s reason for everybody to smile.

Of course, no day at PAX would be complete without a hearty collection o’ photos, right? Right! Here are some photos of our booth setup from late Thursday night, along with action from the expo yesterday:

Alrighty, that’s all for now. Thanks again for the tremendous support on our first day… you guys really make all this hard work worth it! Don’t forget, we’ll be at PAX all weekend long, so there’s still plenty o’ time to come by to check out our games and pick up a free postcard. Hope to see all of you there!

Alright, we’ve arrived at PAX. Now what?

We’ve been super busy setting up our mega booth of happiness for all PAX East attendees to marvel and drool over. For those of you who can’t control your drool, please do it in another booth so we don’t have to put up a bunch of “Caution: Floors Slippery When Drooled On” signs all over the place.

While we have been preoccupied with the booth, we did take a boatload of new photos for you and also put together a nifty montage video too. First up, let’s check out the photos:

And now for the montage video:

Do your eyes feel like they were massaged by a jelly donut rainbow just now? Yeah, that’s what we thought. You’re welcome.

We’ll have more updates every day this week, so please stay tuned to the blog. Also, be sure to sign up on the forums to win a free PSN download code of Closure by entering our new PAX caption contest!

PAX PRIME ’11 Preparation & Updates!

The Behemoth team will be headed up to Seattle for our 6th appearance at PAX Prime rockin’ Booth #3003, and our BIGGEST booth to date. We’ll be showing the latest build of BattleBlock Theater and a surprise iOS game demo!

Look out for these PAX Exclusives!

Chonku-Chonku Machine

You like surprises, right? We brought an authentic Japanese toy vending machine to PAX, filled with collectible mini Castle Crashers Knight figurines!

Why do we call it that? It’s our onomatopoeia. To us, that’s the sound it makes when the toy dispenses. You can make up your own!

To complete your wacky experience, follow these steps:

1) Obtain 500 yen from our booth (the toy costs $6 U.S.)
2) Feed the Chonku-Chonku machine by inserting money
3) Turn the knob
4) Squeal in joy as a capsule with your new mini Knight drops in your hand!

Notes:
There are six mini figurines in this set.
It is a “blind-box” purchase, you may not get the color you want! But you can trade with other people, just like in BattleBlock Theater!

If you don’t want to use the machine, you can head up to our merch table and purchase one! (Blind-box rule still applies)

These Knights will fight for their dignity, their freedom and your love!
