Steam Singles’ Day Sale!

If you don’t know what Singles’ Day is, it’s exactly what you probably think it is — a day to celebrate being a single (and unwilling to mingle).

The perfect way to celebrate being by yourself is by treating yourself, and also not leaving the house and instead filling that void in your heart with some good ol’ fashioned video games. Lucky for you, we have everything you need to do just that!

From Sunday, November 10th at 8 AM PT through Tuesday, November 12th at 8 AM PT, all Behemoth games will be on sale! Grab Castle Crashers or BattleBlock Theater for 80% off, and Pit People for 40% off, and make a new game your perfect match.

We normally encourage our players to go for gold in co-op, but hey! There’s nothing wrong with taking a little extra time for you, yourself, and you. Happy Singles’ Day!

Spooky Scary Steam Sale!

From today through November 1st at 10 AM PT, all of our games will be on sale on Steam as part of the Steam Halloween Sale!

Our games might not be the spooky scariest, but those cat guards from BattleBlock Theater can be pretty intimidating with their claws and what not. Same with the skeletons in Castle Crashers — all bones and no flesh! And the wraiths and zombies in Pit People are frightening too!! AH, okay, maybe we sort of are scary!

Anyway, if you’re feeling less afraid than I am, you’ll be able to pick up Castle Crashers and BattleBlock Theater for the frighteningly good price of 80% off, and Pit People for a scary good deal of 40% off! OOOoooOOOooo!

On top of that, don’t forget that we’re also holding our (almost) annual Behemoth Halloween Contest. Make a Behemoth-inspired Halloween decoration and share a picture to social media using the hashtag #BehemothHalloween, and you could be a winner! You can find more on that here.

We hope you find all of this Halloween fun to be a sweet treat!

EGX London 2019 Recap

We had a great time at EGX London this past weekend!

The very first morning of the show, we found these in the queue line. It seems likely that some developer dropped these, and lost the keys to their stuff. Rule #57382829 of trade shows: Split up the keys, because if you lose them…

This show was new to us, and we found that it was a weird mix of many shows… much like RTX, you could get tattoos, 3 lbs of fudge, and mystery boxes. Like Tokyo Game Show, San Diego Comic-Con, and PAX East, the main event took place a long linear hall that made for good exercise. Like PAX West, you had some evening programming and board games options, but things would mostly wind down after-hours.

The show venue was about 2x that of Comic-Con, so just imagine two long sausage shaped halls next to each other connected by a food mall. They also set up a county fair type area in the adjacent hall with rides and bouncy houses, so there were a lot of kids having a lot of fun.

We had a great time bringing our games to EGX London, and you can see our photos from the event here. It will be interesting to see how next week goes at MCM Comic-Con London… it should be a smaller show, but we’re just as excited for it!
