Coming soon to iOS – Alien Hominid: PDA Games!

Dear Citizens of BehemothTown,

FORGET EVERYTHING YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW ABOUT ALIEN HOMINID’S PDA GAMES. YEAH, remember that mini-game you used to play on your Game Cube, PS2, or even on XBLA in HIGH DEFINITION?

It’s back. But not in the way that you would think.

WE’VE BROUGHT IT TO THE iOS PLATFORM. EXCITING, YEAH?

New Features (We might as well say the whole thing is new):

  • Art redone by Dan and Eric!
  • Everything is rewritten for iOS and REMASTERED!
  • 23 NEW ACHIEVEMENTS!
  • 60 frames per second, wooooo!
  • Pause the game, after the menu disappears you will get to see a little run-through of your last 20 levels played (regardless of which worlds you’re in)
  • SUPER HI-DEFINITION!!

How to get it:

Download the free Alien Hominid: PDA Games APP from the Apple Store. It’ll be a Trial World Pack of 15 levels, and if you’d like to continue, you can choose the option to “Purchase Full Game” to unlock over 500 levels of fun for only 99 cents!

But don’t forget, you can still experience the PDA games excitement without having to go out and buy an iPad or iPhone to play it! Just download Alien Hominid HD for XBLA. Here, earning an achievement will unlock the Alien as a playable character in Castle Crashers!

What’s special about PDA games is that you get a glimpse of what inspired BattleBlock Theater. But the game play for #BBT is going to be complex, refreshing and addicting! 🙂

In the Apple Store starting DECEMBER 8TH, 2011!

Keep on playin’ on,

Killing with love doesn’t sound too bad, does it?

December Giveaways…

To get in the Holiday spirit, we’ll be having a few contests for the month of December!

2 PSN Codes will be given per week (1 Twitter & 1 Facebook winner)! You’ll just need to answer the weekly question on Wednesday. The question will be posted as a status update, and winners will be chosen at random.

Why you’d want to win:

  • Makes a great gift for a friend (Just make sure it’s a friend you want to play with)!
  • Just because you have an XBOX and a PS3 –you want it for all your systems!
  • You have never played Castle Crashers in your life! And you own a PS3.
  • No particular reason at all.
Become Hatty Hattington‘s 700th friend on Facebook and win a t-shirt!
Give your plushie friends a friend to play with!
5 squishy chickens will be given away at random for liking our Facebook statuses, and 5 will be given away for retweeting us on Twitter!

Mummy Undead Rising!

To survive in BattleBlock Theater, you always need to be on the move. Not only forward, but upwards! This week we observe Prisoners #10334 and #10401 partake in griefing activities and movement trajectories. Mummy dude and living skeleton dude will show you just how to use help each other and to get up on your own!

There’s more than one way to move up.

If you chose the dart gun as your weapon, you’ve got a fun one! Shoot your partner or enemy to knock ’em down and make your next move! Or, be practical and shoot a dart at a block when vertically challenged.  Doing so will allow you to use the attached dart as a temporary platform!  Highly functional.

Using body parts

The simplest way to help a friend when they can’t get up is to press the action button when you’re at the edge of a block. This will extend your hand to lift your friend up!

Another way to use your hand to help a friend (with pizzazz) is to employ the use of your fist to UPPERCUT PUNCH your friend up! It might hurt a little… but hey, it works!

If you’re a hard head like Prisoner #10401, you won’t mind that your mummy friend gets ahead by jumping on your head if they’re thankful for your cooperation…right? Hopefully skeletons can handle these intense HEADJUMPS!

Pick your poison!

Your Favorite Pink Knight<3,

Christine
