    Could you next show us a female character so I could convince my girlfriend to play CC with me :). CC needs a femme fatale!

  2. I doubt there’s going to be a playable woman, with a good concept as to why (stupid revolting people).
    At the end of some, if not all levels you fight each other for the hand of the maiden. With that in mind, if you are playing as a woman, and save the maiden, you kiss them. That would be considered a lesbian scene, and we all know some people go through some ridiculous lengths about that kind of stuff.

    Nate: Dan or someone else has stated that not everything will be revealed by the time the game comes out and they will reveal more once it’s out and leave some stuff a surprise.

  6. RACISM ACCUSATION UNJUST FOR 3 REASONS:

    (1) In the original castle crasher the character actually looked like a knight, but Behemoth decided to adhere to their normal art stile and stretched the character’s heads, resulting in the current look. For example watch an old video gameplay on youtube and compare it to dad and me and the fat boys from alien hominid.

    (2) In several pictures the crashers do not have the gray triangle on their helmets, which often resulted in a more KKK look. I believe that those lines were guides and wont be in the game.

    (3) Thieves and other enemies are shrouded and the trolls are more like muck than actual skin. On top of that you can play as several darker skinned character who also fight alongside the castle crashers.

    Therefore I believe that the accusations are unjust and will not retard the release of the game by any amount

  9. Oh come on, you got to have a female playable character. You can’t play a medieval hack and slash without a stereotypical female fighter… elf woman archer! half-naked barbarian babe! Sexy rogue with dualwielding knives! wizard/witch?

    Okay, she doesn’t have to be sexy or half-naked, but you got to have even one. If the game is even half as large as the devs say it’s got to have one. I bet you can play as one of the maides when you’ve beaten the game atleast once.

    Women kissing bears is just as out there as women kissing each other IMO 🙂

  10. I know, Aleski, and I agree. But look at Fox News (more like The Inquirer) with the Mass Effect story. They completely botched the game without playing it, all from 1 sex scene that had as much nudity in it as a 14A movie. What’s more, a country banned Mass Effect from the ability to be a female and to work a relationship with a hermaphrodite/unisex species that happened to appear female.
    So from all that, we can safely say that being a chick in the game is possible, providing Behemoth here doesn’t care that much about politics who argue over everything under the sun.

  12. Steve, I’m a catholic and I can tell you the crosses are accidents, they aren’t put there on purpose, as to your mother tell her not to worry and that another catholic was having the same doubts. It came from the art evolution, not a deliberate upside down cross.

    Pirates, Robots, Chefs, Cavemen, and Clowns..It copmpliments the ninja perfectly. And, I am begging you, pleaaaaase squeeze in a plumber wearing overalls…You know the kind I’m talking about ;D

    Event i get your comment of random things that merge well but they can’t do that with this game, the clown might be possible but it would a jester of doom, not a clown.

So, I’m a Behemoth employee under an NDA so I can’t disclose anything about the characters – but I will say to all of you who are wishing for new characters to be added to the game: read the title of the blog post a few back: CASTLE CRASHERS IS COMPLETELY COMPLETED. As for the female characters… oh right. Can’t say 🙂
