Comic-Con is Coming…..

cc07floorplan

9 days left until Comic-Con 2007 is here. We’re really looking forward to this years show as we celebrate our 5th year! at the con! We’re going to have a brand new, hand made booth, new merchandise, and both Castle Crashers, and Alien Hominid HD playable demo’s. In addition to all of this, our friends over at Newgrounds will be joining us this year. Our booth number is #4529 and we will be right on the main aisle, just look for the giant chicken.

In case you’ve never been to Comic-Con, we have documented our last 4 years for your viewing pleasure. Take a look at our news section and browse through some of our previous years at the show. We started off in 2003 with just a table, a large chicken, and a playable demo of Alien Hominid, and this year we are going all out and putting together one of the most elaborate booth’s ever, which pretty much means we will have 2 tables this time. (<–sarcasm)

Hope to see you there!

Penny Arcade Expo

We are heading out to Seattle in a few hours for the Penny Arcade Expo No pictures yet of the ridiculous amount of things we are taking with us, but as soon as we get back there will be the standard photo tour we have all come to love. In addition, the latest demo of Castle Crashers and Alien Hominid will be there for those of you who will be attending. Going thru the demos last night, I must say it looks pretty darn amazing! So if you’re in the area be sure to try to make it out and come say hi to us at our booth. We will be the guys with the fat chicken!

IGN Live 2005

This past weekend we attended the first annual IGN LIVE. We had a great time showing everyone the upcoming version of Alien Hominid for the Game Boy Advance. Be sure to check out the post and read about the setup for the event. Thanks for coming out and showing your support.

We arrive at the Anaheim Convention Center with what we like to call a “mini comic-con” setup. Even though the venue was smaller than what we were used to, we still went all out with our booth.

Since we were showing the Game Boy Advance version of Alien Hominid, we decided to hire some extra help for the booth. These are the first Alien Hominid girls to ever make a public appearance, and they did an awesome job! They brought everyone back to our booth, and took photos with the fans.

Here are some pictures of them in action.

We donated several prizes to the Dead or Alive competition that was being held in the Dolby Digital Theater. Here you can see our Hominid and his female companions handing out our super cool buttons that we hand make here in our office.

Thanks to Dolby and IGN we were able to showcase Alien Hominid on their enourmous screen. We ran thru a few of our levels and John Baez our producer said a few words about the development of the game. Thanks for everyone that came, we had a full house and I think that was the first time our Hominid friend was on the big screen.

Everyone had a good time hanging out at our booth, playing Alien Hominid, taking pictures, etc, etc. Thank you IGN for having us.
