Title Update is Coming!

We just got off the phone with Microsoft and we had a great talk about updating Castle Crashers, YES!! Looks like we’re on our way to getting this title update out and the bigger issues like saving and online connectivity resolved, in addition to other bugs that have been reported. A suggestion for those that might be having some online problems with Quick Match or Custom Match is to possibly try hosting a match instead. Also we’ve been informed that there are some suggestions out there about how to help recover your lost saved data. Again, we’re working on resolving these issues for the update but these might help you in the meantime.

We don’t have a specific time frame yet but we have been working on all known issues as soon as they appeared. Our team has gone without rum and biscuits since we became aware of the issues and will continue to deprive our programming team of both sleep and contact with family and friends (they don’t really have friends).

I want to take a second and thank everyone who sent in their emails, forum posts, threat letters, etc over the past few days. We’ve read through everything and have been responding to as many issues as we can. We’re directing most of our attention to actually fixing the problems so please be patient if you don’t hear an immediate response. Yay for communication!

If you have anything to report to us please keep emailing them to games[at]thebehemoth[dot]com and for the love of all that is good in this world put a relevant subject line like “Castle Crashers Bug Blah Blah Blah” but not, “OMFGFTWROFLCOPTER”

    =P And the king and necromancer please just tell us if they are DLC or unlockable where slaving to get these guys.

    One of the best games I’ve ever played in a long time.

    Most of the games I have are all medeocre stuff.

    Also, if there are DLC, will there be more levels?

    What he said, also i hope your considering a fairly decent amount of DLC, and not just some skins, because this game is amazing and tons of people would love new bosses etc

  11. The game has been beaten with every single character we know of and also insane mode. If any of those “secret” characters were still in the game, one of those things would have unlocked at least one of them.

    But I’d still like some confirmation that those were early pictures or something and you took them out of the game for some reason. You have an amazing game that is amazingly addictive and people are pulling thier hair out thinking up ridiculous ways on how to unlock them.

    Also, whatever box you have to tick to unlock the king n shit- Please just check if that box IS tickable.

    While you’re on the phone with Microsoft, could you please tell them to friggin’ tell the rest of the developer world why the hell every first online game from a publisher is broken as…well, its friggin’ broken. Maybe its time to release some information with those devkits, maybe do a title update on that.

    It ain’t your fault, but it sure the hell is M$’s.

  17. Great news. I’ve been itching to play online. And yeah…King, Necromancer, Wizard, Chainsaw, and even the unmasked Grey Knight. Please tell us how to get them! Hints would even be nice!

  18. With all these coments on unlocking the necromancer, king, open viser night, mage’s minion, and the alien without anything to do with the game, we are sure to get their attention. Hopefully we dont have to do anything outside of the game which includes DLC and AH HD

  21. I giggled at some of that. No friends, thanking of threat letters, and silly titles for an email saying stuff like “OMGWTFROFLCOPTER”. Classic.

    All we need now is for the forums to stop getting slammed so hard. I miss the community of fellow fans…
