May your high score runs be plentiful, and may the shots that come at you during extraction be few and far between!

Another invasion has come and gone, and while we’ve got some work to do preparing for the next one, we wanted to take a quick break to announce the winners of our demo competitions.

With over 6 million invader kills and over 21 thousand hours invading, you all surely impressed us, but there were a few epic hominids who spent hours perfecting their skills. The winners of both categories are as follows:

INSANE High Score Competition

1) Destri – 143,569,067
2) HydroSheep – 28,038,412

Destri from Alien Hominid Invasion scored 143 million?! That is pretty INSANE if you ask me. (See what I did there?)

Speedrun Competition

1) Destri – 10:12.90
2) Derpy – 10:51.50

Did you know our demo can be completed in less than 11 minutes?! We didn’t either! Thanks for teaching us how to go fast.

Well, we were in a bit of a pickle when we saw Destri won both the INSANE High Score and Speedrun competitions… just kidding! We ate all of the pickles and quickly decided to also give the first place prize to the runner-ups in both categories. Enjoy an alien-themed bucket hat, socks, and keychain on us! You three deserve it.

As always, thanks to all who participated and shared their gameplay with us! A friendly community competition is what we all need once in a while. We’ve got a few things planned for the game’s release, including co-op challenges, so stay tuned! Until next time, earthlings. Or are you fellow hominids now? Hmmm.

INSANE High Score Competition

If you feel like enjoying a side of suffering with your Invasion chaos, this is the competition for you! To enter, send us a recording uploaded to YouTube of your solo INSANE mode demo run, including your high score screen at the end. You must start with a new profile and extract from the last level (boss) to qualify.

We get to see you suffer, you get a chance to win some cool Alien merch if you win. It’s a win-win situation for everyone, really. Unless you don’t win, I guess.

Speedrun Competition

If you like going FAST, this is the one for you! To enter, send us a recording (also uploaded to YouTube) of your solo demo speedrun on Normal difficulty. If you have the speediest of alien demo clears, you win! It’s a pretty simple concept really. You must start with a new profile and extract from the last level (boss) to qualify.

How to Enter

Please send all demo competition submission links to games@thebehemoth.com with the title “Alien Hominid Invasion Demo Submission – YOURNAMEHERE” and let us know whether you are entering the INSANE or speedrun competition, or both.

Prizes

If you win either competition, you’ll get a one-of-a-kind pat on the back from each of our alien Vtubers! Actually, their movement is somewhat limited, so here are the real prizes:

– Those who take first place in either competition will win an AHI bucket hat, socks, and keychain.
– One runner-up from each competition will win an AHI bandana and sticker sheet.

To spread the alien joy, we’ll only be awarding one prize pack per earthing! Sources close to the Mothership say those socks are pretty comfy…
