It’s time for our annual CHICKEN-FLAVORED Halloween art contest!

The DAWN OF THE BEHEMOTH is nigh, and your favorite chicken dev team is back with our annual Halloween art contest! While the last two Halloween events focused on spookily dressing up our alien and agent hordes to the nines, this year’s contest is focused on a rather fluffy, familiar friend we’ve held near and dear to our hearts these past 21 years – THE Behemoth chicken. It’s time to gather your chicken feed, grab your anti-pecking gear, and get to work on an eggs-cellent costume for our beloved chicken mascot!

Chicken prizes:

The team will be choosing three of our favorite entries to win a mega Behemoth chicken-themed swag bag with a plushie, keychain, scarf, hat, and assorted stickers and patches, ALL CHICKEN FLAVORED! Scare us, make us laugh, or inspire tears of joy – we can’t wait to see your chicken outfits!

How to enter:

Send your submission to games@thebehemoth.com with your name, in addition to a name for the costume your chicken is wearing! PSSSST, if you also share your entry on Twitter or Instagram with the #Behemoth hashtag, there’s a possibility for your art to be further shared by our team!

All contest entries must be submitted via email by 11:59 PM PDT on Thursday, October 24th. Winners will be announced and contacted on the 25th!

Full contest rules:

  • Dress The Behemoth chicken up in a costume of your choice! Other Behemoth characters are permitted to be in your entry, but please make the chicken and its costume the centerpiece of your entry (not your meal!).
  • Participants must be 18 or older to enter (if in the US), or have parental consent.
  • Each entry must be an original piece by the participant, and only new entries will be accepted – any artwork submitted to previous contests is not eligible.
  • Only one entry per participant will be accepted. Please send in your final work only!
  • All art forms are encouraged to participate: drawings, paper mache, crocheting, stop motion videos – we love it all!
  • NSFW or hateful imagery will be disqualified.
  • No AI allowed!
  • Only submissions emailed to games@thebehemoth.com by 11:59 PM PDT on Thursday, October 24th will be accepted!

We’re heading to IndieDevDay in Barcelona this weekend!

The Behemoth chickens have had quite the travel circuit this year, flying all the way to Boston, Birmingham, London, Rotterdam, AND Seattle to spread the joy of co-op arcade indie games! We’ve still got a little bit of fuel left in this chicken tank, so we’re excited to announce that we’ll be at Barcelona’s Indie Dev Day, Spain’s largest independent video game fair, this September 27th-29th! Come by, say hi, and join our alien invasion!

IndieDevDay is dedicated to showcasing all things indie games with activities for industry professionals, students, and players. Our team will be showcasing our most recent release, Alien Hominid Invasion! Follow THE BEHEMOTH PATH on the map below for our booth location in the expo hall:
