Happy 1st anniversary to Alien Hominid Invasion!

It’s Alien Hominid Invasion’s first birthday!!!! With over 200,500,000 agents defeated across Steam, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, we’d consider this invasion a successful one! Your Mothership is so proud of you! We’ve had quite the chaotic journey, so let’s take a moment of respite to reminisce with something truly coveted in this universe – memes (and art and other things!).

Come back to the invasion!

Your alien crew misses you! Wait, you’ve been busy playing BEHEMOTH, the newest game release from The Behemoth? The aliens forgive you, for now…

What kind of weapon is this?

You asked for it, you got it! Alien Hominid Invasion and Alien Hominid HD are being prepared for a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 release! Bapi bapi bapi baaaa~

He is filled with everlasting joy and determination!

Although it is the aliens’ day, we need to give a shout-out to the agents who dedicate their lives attempting to stop all this chaotic nonsense.

This is fine.

From bees to flamethrowers, Alien Hominid Invasion has quite the weapon pool! Our top-secret sources say that invaders’ most popular weapon of choice is the standard-issue Alien Blaster, with Dual Laser and Photon Gun following closely behind.

BAPI BAPI BREAK IT DOWN~

What would an Alien Hominid Invasion anniversary post be without the dancing aliens? Our longtime collaborator and friend Patric Catani made it nearly impossible to play the game without wanting to bust a move, and we can’t thank him enough for such a colorful soundtrack!

Aliens seem to like befriending Earth’s creatures and learning more about their odd behavior.

We always love seeing fan art of the alien alongside Earth’s various creatures! When Moo Deng took the world by storm earlier this year, we knew the alien had to meet her! I imagine our alien buddy would protect the tiny hippo from any unruly zoo visitors with a head chomp or two.

The aliens seem to really be into this Halloween thing…

Yesterday, we celebrated Halloween AND the launch of BEHEMOTH, 364 entire days after the release of Alien Hominid Invasion. Does that mean we’ll be celebrating double next year? If 2023 was the year of aliens, and 2024 is the year of chickens, what will next year bring?

While we ponder what to celebrate next year, we’ll leave you with one last affirmation to inspire many more years of invading to come:

Tag yourself. I’m the little fairy alien.

We’re heading to IndieDevDay in Barcelona this weekend!

The Behemoth chickens have had quite the travel circuit this year, flying all the way to Boston, Birmingham, London, Rotterdam, AND Seattle to spread the joy of co-op arcade indie games! We’ve still got a little bit of fuel left in this chicken tank, so we’re excited to announce that we’ll be at Barcelona’s Indie Dev Day, Spain’s largest independent video game fair, this September 27th-29th! Come by, say hi, and join our alien invasion!

IndieDevDay is dedicated to showcasing all things indie games with activities for industry professionals, students, and players. Our team will be showcasing our most recent release, Alien Hominid Invasion! Follow THE BEHEMOTH PATH on the map below for our booth location in the expo hall:

(You can find the complete event map on the IndieDevDay website!)

This trip marks the first time we’re exhibiting at IndieDevDay, and we can’t wait to meet some fresh faces over in Barcelona! See you soon IN SPAIN this weekend!
