There’s only six more sleeps until Halloween! Earlier in the month, we announced our annual Halloween Art contest with a classic prompt: dress up The Behemoth chicken in a costume, because (as we warned you) the Dawn of THE BEHEMOTH is nigh!
Game 6, “BEHEMOTH“, was unveiled yesterday and will launch for Steam on Halloween, October 31! BEHEMOTH will finally allow you to become our iconic chicken mascot as you fly your flock of baby chicks to safety while dodging deadly fruits and peck-uliar obstacles soaring through the sky!
BUT…this post is about an art contest! And now it’s time for what we’re all here for: WINNING.

Sending a very BEHEMOTH congratulations to our three main winners! Please keep an eye out for an email so we can send you a bag of chicken merch!! The outpouring of entries was strong with this one. It keeps getting harder and harder to judge these art contests–everybody is so talented, the sheer awesomeness of the combined artistic skill of all entrants was simply BEHEMOTH. It’s also always incredible to see returnee artists up their game year after year!
Here are some honorable mentions that all of us here at the studio simply couldn’t not acknowledge. We wish we could send every one of you a gigantic chicken adorned with hundreds of baby chicks but alas, we are bound by the confines of reality.
BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!!!? Two entries have been chosen to receive the EXTREMELY HONORABLE KIDS CHICKEN ART AWARD. This chicken is so proud of your artistic abilities! Please never stop creating!
But only KIND OF bound by the confines of reality: The Big Chicken Above has decreed that everyone who entered (and followed the contest criteria) will be receiving a code to BEHEMOTH on Steam! BEHEMOTH was created partly as a celebration of the fans and community who have sustained us enough to continue flapping along for the past 21–yes, twenty-one–years. We wouldn’t be here without you!
