fantastic foam four foot figure

amazing!!!  clint burgin, who has sculpted all of our figurines thus far, is now working on 4 foot tall figures for comic-con this year!  he should be done the night before the show just in time for awesomeness.  clint has been working day and night thanks to the very short notice we gave him 🙂  thank you clint!!!!!!!!    we’ll have these characters at our booth so you can all take pictures next to them!

tom and i went up to see how clint was doing.  while we were there i took some pictures to share!!  here you can see them in their blue foam glory –unfinished in shape, but definitely giving a good glimpse of the progress.

we’ll also be bringing these to PAX.  see you guys there!

    Do you have a gamed planned after this??? if so, what will it be about??? because i definitely think a cowboy/pirate game is in order here.

  4. That 4 foot CC looks awesome 🙂 Shame I can’t see it live.

    I’ll be checking the Xbox marketplace periodically to see if CC is up to purchase.

    Also, seeing the link of Dan posting about working on the next game… Seriously, you guys deserve a break!

  10. or castle crashers 2? in 3D like fable, you can choose any of the 4 knights and you can do all you want in medieval world kill thiefs go to war agains barbarians conquer new lands buy new weapons change the armour of your character, like you put the armour of the brute or put the clodes of the thief i only says that is good stuff for me.

  11. The best possible thing I could hope for would be a fantastic platformer. There are so few good platformers these days, but I really hope that The Behemoth simply makes the game that they want to make!

  13. My hopes are for at the latest the first Wednesday of August, and that’s LATEST.
    Also looking at the E3 Nintendo stuff, and the responses. I have never seen so many people cry about the “Hardcore gamer being ignored because their focus is on the casual gamer”. Seriously, that was some serious “Stop crying like a baby and deal, you ignorant elitist”. Bleh. Ignore E3, it’s all a bunch of “we already know” or “not for ‘hardcore’ gamers” thing now. Hopefully next year it’s a bunch of stuff on titles we have no idea what they are until they show it at E3.

    Also, Figurines by tomorrow, Thursday latest! It’s only about 6 hours away now, meaning I’m getting the package in the afternoon, and my parents should hopefully not be back home when it comes.

  14. I’d like a Metal Slug goes cyberpunk kinda game from Behemoth… something Contralike (or Probotectorlike here in Finland) with 4 players.

    Metal Slug 3 is awesome… the best sidescrolling shoot’em up, ever… hate to say this. Alien Hominid is on 2nd place, sniff.

    Question for Dan. What do you think of the artistic style in the metal slug series?

  22. “pretty big”? It was Epic Failure to an intense level. Hell, the little bit they showed for Guitar Hero World Tour sucked so bad because I knew everything, expected to see how the drums look scrolling to you, and then BAM! Nothing like that, and a bunch of people looking like idiots. Thanks Guitar Hero for giving a PoS presentation.

  24. I saw that too, they showed some LAME AS HELL games, some other pointless games that everyone was going to buy anyways, and NO CASTLE CRASHERS. It’s like someone at X-Box thinks this game will fall, but fails to realize that every gaming website out there that has tried it LOVED it. Geometry Wars 2? Go fly a kite, along with Portal and Galaga Legions! I want Castle Crashers!

    I haven’t been this hyped for a game, EVER, and now I’m stuck waiting on some idiot at Microsoft to stop shafting the community from getting a game it wants.

  25. btw guys castle crashers cant be july 30th because geometry wars 2 just got pumped up. and be galaga is gonna come out the week after. we are looking at aug 13th it seems
